Enjoying life's little moments

My favorite moments in life are the simple ones that make me smile.

Eating donuts for breakfast

Wearing comfy pajama pants and cozy sweaters

Finally getting that book you've been waiting for months to read

Those (however short) moments when your hair looks just perfect

When you realize your friends know you better than you thought they did

Just the little things that make life great.

I am so blessed, I want to remember all the little things that I take for granted, the beautiful moments.

Like when my siblings throw me an impromptu birthday party even when both my parents were gone all day.

Or when my little brother runs in my room just to give me a big hug, then runs off again.

When I get to work in the nursery at church and hang out with some of the cutest kids ever.

Or the fact that I got happy birthday wishes from 3 continents.

My life is amazing, I'm enjoying every second of it.

***

I realize this is really just a longer version of the thumbs up in my ups&downs posts, but I do not care.
also, I GOT THE FAULT IN OUR STARS IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING AND OHMYWORD I CAN'T
and.... THE DIVERGENT TRAILER CAME OUT TODAY I AM FREAKING THIS INCREDIBLE.
That is all.

It is nice to make note of all the little things which make us smile, because we do forget them sometimes and focus on the negative instead...

You are just so fabulous and I adore you. Just putting that out there in case you had forgotten.

The Fault in Our Stars AND a Divergent trailer? Dang, girl. How are you managing all of those fangirl feels? You are a ton stronger than I could ever be.
