The Selection - a whirlwind of emotion

The Selection by Kiera Cass.
Oh. my. word.
I got 6 books for Christmas, I've read 3 of them, this one included, all three have sequels, and though I would die for Prodigy (The Legend sequel), this is the one I want the sequel to the most. I want it in my hands right now. Give it to me. Please?
The Selection was a little different from what I usually read, it wasn't overly exciting or action-packed, but I enjoyed even more than I expected to. The writing was awesome and the dialogue had me laughing out loud throughout the whole book, to the point where all I could think was "ASDFGHJK; MAXON AND GAH AND AMAZINGNESS SO FREAKING HAHAHAHAHA"
Really not an exaggeration.
If you don't know what The Selection is about, this is the basic synopsis from Wikipedia:

"The book follows America Singer, a teenage girl that is chosen to participate in a contest to pick the future queen and bride of the handsome Prince Maxon. Despite the glamour, wealth, and power that such a position offers, America isn't happy being chosen- especially as she hides a forbidden love for a boy named Aspen in a lower caste, the same person who urged her to enter the contest. As she participates in the contest, America finds herself drawn to both boys"

Now, without giving too much away, by the end of the book I was hitting my self in the head with it repeatedly going "Get. Over. Him."
For those of you haven't read the book, first, go pick up a copy of it right away because you SHOULD read the book, second, as much as I'd like to keep it to a minimum so that you can read as well, this next part may contain spoilers, read at your own risk.

Okay, first off, may I just say that my favorite part of the book is the way Maxon and America ease each other? It's just so real and sweet and adorable and had me giggling throughout the whole book, I mean really. #TeamMaxon
And when I say I'm Team Maxon, I mean that with every fiber of my being. Don't get me wrong, Aspen is sweet, he looks out for his family, and he must care about America or he wouldn't have made her sign up for The Selection. (confusing, but true.) I'm just not a fan of Aspen and America's relationship. If you didn't know this about me, I'm a hopeless romantic in all accounts, but it even made me gag. It was all touchy-feely blech. They literally did. not. speak. They had short conversations that had little or no value and then... ugh. no.
And don't even get me started on the "We've been in love for two years" crap. You were freaking 15 when you met. I am 14 now and I don't see myself "falling in love" in a year. And the "I've always been crazy about him, from the first time I looked at him" *gags*. Maybe I'm a failed hopeless romantic to say that no, I do not believe in love at first sight.
Because 1. "First sight" means you've never met the person, 2. You know absolutely nothing about them (they could be an ax murderer for all you know at "first sight") and 3. You're saying you're "in love" with them, based purely on their looks. Excuse me. No. Don't get me wrong, you could meet someone that you instantly feel attracted to and the after getting to know each other and spending a lot of time together, you could get married and live a long happy life together and good for you! But at "first sight", that was NOT love.
*rant over*
Along the same lines as what I said at first, Aspen and America's relationship disgusts me. Whereas Maxon... *swoon*. Maxon and America started as friends, the way you should, America didn't want the crown, or him, for that matter, so they spoke as friends, they teased each other, made fun of each other, and talked freely, and when a relationship did start to bloom, it was in a quiet way, that she still was trying to figure out her feelings for him.
And enter: Aspen. (All spoilers from here on out)
I actually got really mad when he showed up, I wanted to scream at America to tell Maxon who he was and kick him out, but nooooo, apparently she still loves him. And then America got mad at Maxon, which I thought was dumb in itself, what was he thinking!? That was the one time in the book that I got mad at Maxon, OBVIOUSLY Celeste was a brat with no redeeming qualities, and America could pretty much prove it, as I'm guessing her dress had yet to be fixed. I couldn't believe he was being so petty as to deny it and keep her around.
And because America was mad at Maxon, she got reckless. Okay, Maxon was being annoying, but she knew that what she was doing was practically treason and it took her way too long to decide she couldn't do that.
I did get annoyed at America in multiple parts of the book, as I mentioned before, the idea that she was "in love" with him since she was 15 (and he was 17 at that) made me sick. And Aspen broke up with her because he was petty, she'd been trying to get rid of her feelings for him and then he shows up and she still loves him. He begs her to take him back. blah blah blah. Honestly, I just thought she should get over it. Their "love" was all physical, and it was gross. Maybe she should actually try and talk to him. Or not. Okay. Meh.

I know this was all one big rant, but all-in-all, I LOVED The Selection, it was such an entertaining, fun, and hilariously sweet book. May I just say THANK YOU to the lovely Kenzie for introducing me to this wonderful book.

M.I.A. -- Apologies -- Christmas

So... Hey.
Long time no see, huh?
I REALLY apologize for not posting, like, at ALL the last 2 weeks, obviously we've been really busy over the holidays, and I really had no ideas for what to post, I meant to post on Christmas... That didn't happen.
So,

Merry {LATE} Christmas!!!!

I hope your Christmas was as wonderful as mine, Christmas is most definitely one of my favorite times of year, my entire family gets together on Christmas Eve, then we chill out all day on Christmas, it's an amazing time with my family <3

I got SO much stuff for Christmas, I was shocked honestly, I didn't expect to get more than a few things and I was pleasantly surprised, I am so very thankful for everything and everyone who gave it to me, my friends and family know me so well.

And by that I mean, one of my brothers got me the Frozen soundtrack, and another one of my brothers got me and Olaf plush, and one of my best friends made (and painted!) me my own Camp Half-Blood necklace!

I won't bore you with what else I got for Christmas, but what was your favorite gift you got for Christmas???

I'm so sad Christmas is over, it's so strange that we spend weeks & months preparing for Christmas, and then it's all over in the blink of an eye.

***

I promise I'll be posting more soon, I just haven't had much to post lately, if you have any suggestions/requests, please leave them in the comments, I need inspiration!

Christmas Wishes

Christmas
I love everything about Christmastime
the lights,
the music,
the movies,
the love,
the laughs,
having my family together
Christmas is hands-down my favorite time of year

Recently, we put up our Christmas tree & I got to go shopping for gifts, all in one day :D
ahhh.... gifts.
Probably what quickly comes to mind when we think "Christmas"
Among our first thoughts being:
"What do I want for Christmas?"
Of course, Christmas is about so much more than presents,
it's about the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Who came to Earth to die for our sins.

That being the True meaning of Christmas,
I can't say I didn't start thinking about what I wanted for Christmas.
About 2-3 weeks before Christmas... my mind goes blank.
and I cannot think of a single thing I want.

After much thought and consideration, here are a few things I wrote on my Christmas list:

Boots

Disney Movies

+ - Ed Sheeran

Sharpies

Elephant sweatshirt {No joke, I want this}

An Olaf doll

***
So there are a few things on my Christmas wishlist, what's on yours???

OH wait! I thought of one more thing!

Kristoff -- I want him, please can I have him!?

Hello December

This is mine. All mine. No touchy-touchy.

December... How did you get here so soon???

When did the warm weather give way to
biting cold,
warm sweaters,
layers upon layers.

How snow & Christmas are just around the corner.
Christmas everything for the next few weeks.
Shopping,
excitement,
parties,
performances..
presents, given and received.

December is when it's officially winter,
coats, sweaters, boots, thick socks, scarves, hats, gloves.
Maybe we'll even get move snow than the light flurries we've had so far...

Oh what a different December in front of us than last year.
Last year, hectic would be an understatement.
Didn't feel like Christmas until the day of.
This year, I can enjoy my time.
Christmas movies,
laughter,
family.

I don't understand how we've come up on the last month of the year,
2013 has flown by.
2014 is coming up quick.

December...
What does it mean for you?

xoxo

P.s. You can use the picture, but give credit, I took it [last year] and edited it. Mine. Also, so what if it's December 2nd? I'm late with hellos apparently :P

The Fault in Our Stars || thoughts

The Fault in Our Stars
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To quote the far beyond flawless Augustus Waters, as of right now,
"My thoughts are stars that I cannot fathom into constellations"
My thoughts, that is, on The Fault in Our Stars.
This book was beautiful in every possible way, it was a solid book, with a solid ending, that I would be mortified if a sequel was attempted because it would never equate to the masterpiece that is TFiOS.
A strong book with a solid, good, though certainly not... okay, ending, is hard to find, why all books must be made into sequels, trilogies, or series', I will never understand, for though I do love for the story to go on, to live in my mind, some books can and should be over after that last chapter.
I was aware when, after months of waiting to hold this flawlessness in my hands as my own, that TFiOS would tear my heart out. That it could quite possibly tear it to shreds and stomp on it as I looked on in stunned and dying silence.
Of course there is no silence after a book like this, perhaps you make no audible sound, but I can hear every tear drop as it drips down my face, and my thoughts are louder than ever.
Sometimes I wonder, why it is that I willingly give my heart out to be marred and given back to me in shreds, why I pick up a book that, though for a moment will provide me with enjoyment, smiles, and thoughtfulness, but knowing full well that in the end, nothing will make sense anymore, including why I took advantage of those few moments of enjoyment to begin with.
It's not like I have not done it before, aware that the end of the book would leave me in nothingness, staring into space with only my thoughts to keep me company, I know that feeling, I know it well, it is one I experience so many days of my life.
And yet, though these moments of emptiness, days of listlessness, they are painful, and yet beautiful, that they are worth it, for the amazing experience it was to spend that time with Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters, that though I am aware, partially, of what became of them, that they life on in my mind, friends, companions, they accompany my many other fictional friends made through experiences such as these. And it's worth it.
It's a strange to think that a feeling such as this is worth the simple pleasure of reading about fictitious characters, but it is, and it always will be, and I'll never stop, it's one of my most worth it, not-so-simple pleasures.
in the end
it's just worth it.

Enjoying life's little moments

My favorite moments in life are the simple ones that make me smile.

Eating donuts for breakfast

Wearing comfy pajama pants and cozy sweaters

Finally getting that book you've been waiting for months to read

Those (however short) moments when your hair looks just perfect

When you realize your friends know you better than you thought they did

Just the little things that make life great.

I am so blessed, I want to remember all the little things that I take for granted, the beautiful moments.

Like when my siblings throw me an impromptu birthday party even when both my parents were gone all day.

Or when my little brother runs in my room just to give me a big hug, then runs off again.

When I get to work in the nursery at church and hang out with some of the cutest kids ever.

Or the fact that I got happy birthday wishes from 3 continents.

My life is amazing, I'm enjoying every second of it.

***

I realize this is really just a longer version of the thumbs up in my ups&downs posts, but I do not care.
also, I GOT THE FAULT IN OUR STARS IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING AND OHMYWORD I CAN'T
and.... THE DIVERGENT TRAILER CAME OUT TODAY I AM FREAKING THIS INCREDIBLE.
That is all.

Gatlinburg 2013

So, I told y'all I was gonna be gone this weekend, so I thought I'd give you a brief description of the AMAZING time I had on our Gatlinburg fall retreat.

To start off, I should go ahead and clarify that this trip was beyond incredible, pretty much the best weekend of my life. I'm so thankful for every single person there, it was absolutely gorgeous, and we had SO much fun. I grew so much closer to all of the people there and realized some pretty great things about people I now know I definitely had the wrong idea about.
So basically, it was the description of awesome.

Here is a list of some of the things we did while we were there:

  • We went shopping a bunch, in Gatlinburg and in Pigeon Forge.
  • We spent a lot of time at the cabin we stayed at playing games and getting to know each other.

  • We went on a hike, a bunch of us (myself included) fell in the freezing creek, but we took a bunch of pictures, climbed trees, & had a ton of fun.
The creek we went to on our hike :D
  • We had a film festival! I could go on and on about this because it was a TON of fun, but basically we all made a movie in a specific genre & had a list of things that had to be in it, then we went back to the cabin & watched them, & laughed our heads off.
Wax Avengers needed a picture
  • We went mini-golfing and go-carting, I did not go-cart, & learned that I REALLY stink at mini-golf, but it was still so much fun. A bunch of the sophmore guys were behind us and whenever they caught up they started yelling at us to hurry up, it made one of my friends really mad and embarrassed, but me and my other friend just laughed XD
  • We had worship and discussions twice a day, this is the time when we stopped goofing off for a few minutes and really talked about the reason we were there, to get to know each other better so we could learn to bear with each other & unite to show the love of Christ to others.
The first morning, post-rain, view outside our cabin, does it get any more gorgeous!?
  • I spent a lot of time taking selfies on my friends' phones. No shame.
  • We made a list of hashtags describing different parts of the trip. :P
Only some of these will be explained if you ask, I only put this picture on here because you don't know my friend therefore you don't know who's who on here. :P
  • We rode in the van, which probably sounds obvious, but this was one of the most fun parts of the trip because of who I was in the van with, every ride was H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S.
  • We spent about 2 hours writing cards to each other telling each other what we loved about them, I feel bad now because mine were so generic & the ones that I got were all beautiful and kind & amazing.
This envelope originally had my last name on it, but for safety reasons, now it does not.
  • We didn't get our cards right away, later that day we sat in a circle & one at a time, we all sat in the middle & who ever wanted to talk told us their favorite things about us. This was hands-down my favorite part of the trip, I totally loved the entire experience, letting each other know that we care about each other & all the different things we love about each other. I can honestly say only a few times in my life have I ever felt so loved, people I barely knew told me they thought I was an amazing person, & I loved being able to tell other people that I don't normally talk to what I like about them.
It was one of the best weekends of my life, the ONLY thing that could have made it any better, is if it had been longer. I'm so thankful for this experience, and I already can't wait for next year.

Repeating history

You know how sometimes, you're listening to a song, or you hear a phrase, or a voice, and it sends you into the past, a flashback to something it reminds you of?
You think so?
You have no idea.

***

We're sitting in my room, things calm for once, listening to my iPod on shuffle and relaxing for once in our chaos-filled lives. A song comes on, I get a feeling in the back of my mind that I should turn it off, a warning light, I ignore it, we're fine right now, why disrupt the peace?
"Repeating history and you're getting sick of it"
Hmm...
"So we've been outnumbered, raided and now cornered,
It's hard to fight when the fight ain't fair"
I see his eyes widen, he jumps to turn it off, but he's too late, my head feels like it's gonna break open, I sit up and almost double over in pain, he catches me, but I've gone stiff, there's nothing he can do now.

***

It's about a year ago, inside I know it is, but it's all the same, I'm back in the past, repeating history. And yes, I'm getting sick of it. There's a different boy sitting next to me, I can see the greedy look in his eyes. At the time, I thought it was for me, I knew I had to get out of there anyway, but I was so wrong, it was so much worse.
It was for money, for the price on my head that at the time I had no idea about.
The scene changes, for half a second I'm back in the present, only because another wave a sharp pain shot through my head, but I'm thrown back to a different place in time.
My hands are tied behind my back, a gag in my mouth, I see the people around me like I'm watching a movie, none of it seems real, but it feels real, as real as it did the first time it happened. The men around me are arguing over whether to use me or kill me, I stopped listening a long time ago, it's too painful.
A hole explodes in the ceiling, 10, 20, 30, and more people rain down around us, the fighting is immediate, I see fists and feet flying all around me, and everyone looks the same, I can't tell who's who, and for a moment, I'm forgotten.
Someone breaks away from the crowd, he's younger than the rest, I know him. He's the boy sitting next to me now, but I knew him then, I didn't know what to think, but I really had no choice.
He cuts the bind on my wrist, then looks at me and puts a finger to his lips, warning me to be quiet, before untying the gag on my mouth.
I stand and look at him, my eyes wide, unsure of what to think, he doesn't waste anytime, he grabs my arm and pulls me around the men fighting until we're right under the hole in the ceiling. A ladder drops down next us and he pushes me toward it.
I feel like I'm in a trance, but I climb the ladder and he jumps on behind me, but I don't look back. A few rungs from the top someone grabs me and pulls me onto the roof, dragging me toward the helicopter waiting not far away. They shove me on board, I see him climb on behind me, I feel lost, scared, and confused, I look at him waiting for any kind of explanation.
The door closes and the helicopter takes off as he collapses on the seat next to me, he looks at me for a few seconds before saying, "Confused?"
I shake my head, "Well you just won the award for understatement of the century, are you gonna tell me what's going on?"
He shakes his head slowly, "Can't. I want to, but I'm not authorized to tell you anything, my dad will"
I don't want to accept that, but I know he won't elaborate so I just sit in silence.
My whole body shudders in pain as the vision fast forwards, I can feel  his arms around me, trying to comfort me, but it won't do me any good.
I'm sitting in a building I don't know, next to a boy I thought I knew, facing a man I had no idea about, his father.
"Alright" The man says, "I guess I should explain what's going on"
"Yeah", I agree. "That would be helpful."
"Well I'm not going to sugarcoat this, so let's get the worst out of the way first, there are a lot of people like those, people who either want you, or want you dead"
My whole body shudders, but I don't say anything.
He goes on, "The reason being, that you are... special, your whole family is, and a lot of people know that, you come from a line of people who all possess some kind of power. Some were incredibly useful or incredible, others were seemingly useless, it doesn't matter to these people, they don't want any of you around"
I nod slowly, somehow it doesn't surprise me much, I've lived in foster homes my whole life, my parents died when I was young and no one would tell me how, I've always felt like I was being watched. Apparently I was right.
"What about my sister?" I ask, "How come nobody is after her?"
"They would be," He says "If anyone knew she existed, someone from our business found her years ago, not long after your parents were killed" Killed... figured as much "They rewrote her life, she started going by a different last name, and because she doesn't look much like your parents, nobody could tell who she was. We weren't able to get to you in time"
I knew what he was talking about, the one time me and my twin sister had been separated, we'd been kicked out of one home and on short notice, they couldn't find anyone who would take us both, they put us with different families until they found a better place, it only lasted 48 hours, apparently that was enough time to protect my sister for life.
Maybe I should be jealous, but I just sigh, thankful that my sister was okay, even if I wasn't.

***

The vision ends suddenly, a sob escapes my mouth before I'm even fully conscious and tears stream down my cheeks, he pulls me closer to him and I bury my face into his shoulder, crying into his shirt.
It doesn't last long, it never does, I'm able to pull myself together and stop crying, but my whole body is shaking.
"It's okay," He says, "It's over."
"No." I say shaking my head, "It'll never be over, there'll always be a price on my head, I'll always have these stupid flashbacks, and there'll always be people who want to kill me, how is that okay!?" My voice rose more and more as I spoke, I was shouting by the last word, but his face didn't change, he watched me calmly until I was finished, then put his hand on my leg gently. That was all it took, I snapped out my trance and collapsed into his arms.
"Sorry." I muttered quietly.
"Don't be." He said back.

Do you like???
Should I continue?

Gone, Gone, Gone - Phillip Phillips.

I adore this song, all because of this girl. Thanks girly, I looooove you!!!

When life leaves you high and dry
I'll be at your door tonight
If you need help, if you need help.
I'll shut down the city lights,
I'll lie, cheat, I'll beg and bribe
To make you well, to make you well.

Enjoy ♥

Allegiant -- It's over *No spoilers!*

Well y'all, I finished Allegiant.
I totally realize that does not sound excited in any way, and that's kind of how I feel right now... Empty, lost, confused, blank. Not only because of the book or the ending, but because this is... the end.
Let me explain, I read Divergent and Insurgent at the same time almost exactly a year ago, since then I have been anxiously and somewhat impatiently waiting for Divergent #3, turned Allegiant. In that year of waiting I experienced so many different emotions,
fangirling like I never have before
agonizing impatience
excitement beyond anything I've ever felt for a book
joy every time I saw someone reading it.
I did so many things to make my wait easier- and yet harder at the same time.
Fangirling, that's a given.
Imagining, writing my own perfect ending to the story.
Recommending, Divergent and Insurgent to everyone I could so that I would have fangirl buddies.
Jumping up and down and dancing every time I heard any sliver of information on this book.
This last year has been fun, and painful at the same time. That wait was enjoyable yet agonizing. Those last few days before it came out were bubbling with excitement, and torture.
I got the book.
Yesterday around lunch, I got the book.
I rejected all human contact and denied the desire to eat, I read and read. We had friends over and while I was sitting in the kitchen, all I could think about was the half-read book sitting on my bed. I stayed up until 11:30 reading and then...
It was over.
It is over.
That year of waiting, all led up to this.
And it's gone.
And that day of reading, was what I had spent a year of my life waiting for.
And now it's done, the characters I have begun to call my friends, will never play in my mind again, everything after this will be left to my imagination, and I don't want to imagine it, because I'm not Veronica Roth, I don't know her characters like she does, I don't have any guarantee that anything is true or real, there are times reading the books that I want to scream at them to do or say something else, but they're not my characters to control.
To think that this amazing chapter of my life is coming to an end is too much to think about, I understand we'll still have the movies, I'll still have friends to fangirl with even later, I'll still re-read those books many, many times, but never again will I be able to have the anticipation of reading and not knowing what will happen next, of shock and tears and laughing out loud.
How could that all be gone?
When I finished the book last night, I cried, sobbed, stuffed my face in a pillow, held the book to my chest, threw it across the room. No book has ever affected me this way, sure I've gotten teary eyed, and lived in a daze, even when I finished Harry Potter and felt like there was a hole in my heart it wasn't nearly this bad. I don't cry over books, but I couldn't stop sobbing. To the point I felt like I should be embarrassed but I wasn't, these books were such a huge part of my life and now it's over, gone, just like that.
After I finished I didn't know what to do, I got online for an hour and a half, all-out ranted to my cyber-twin (ummm, do not read that comment, spoiler-central) and sat online until past 1 AM to attempt to flush everything out of my system. At first I sat there blank faced, refused to laugh, my eyes clouded with tears over and over but I refused to cry again.
The most intelligent sentence I cam up with this morning was, and I quote
"Book. Done. Gone. Bad"
And that was after I slept in until 10:30 and my brother came to wake me up, I was curled into a ball clutching my blanket, refusing to get out of bed.
So much happened that I couldn't bring myself to understand or approve of, the ending was beautiful and heart wrenching, and now it's over.

****

And in case you were wondering, I did dress up for faction day yesterday, but was stupid and forgot to take a picture for y'all, but I dressed up as an Amity and wore a red long-sleeved shirt, a yellow scarf, and faded blue jeans. :)
Today my shirt perfectly represents how I'm feeling today...
Webcam photo.. :/
I got this beauty in the mail yesterday, thanks Heather!!!!!!!! I love it!!!

Well there's a tear-filled rant from a teary-eyed fangirl.

Love you all,
read with caution,

"Has it really been a year?" - A friendship anniversary

As you can probably tell by the title, today is a pretty freaking special day.

One year ago today marks the day me and a pretty stinking awesome person first started talking, otherwise known as our friendship anniversary or - as I like to call it - Friendiversary.
(So I may or may not have guesstimated the exact day, it's hard to find on Pinterest!)

Who is it you may ask? Well I kind of talk about her a lot, as she is the awesomest person on the face of this Earth, it's miss Heather :D

So yeah, that's pretty freaking exciting... RIGHT!?! Yes.

A brief summary of Heather's awesomeness would be: She is kind, funny, beautiful, amazing, awesome, nice, dependable, an incredible friend who is always there for me, and just downright lovable.

I went into a little more detail in a guest-post over at her blog *here*, but even that doesn't even come close to what an awesome friend she is, I couldn't be more thankful that she is a part of my life.

In an effort to express just how grateful I am for this last year, I put together a little video.

(I freaking uploaded that video ^^^ to Youtube to make it easier to put on here only to find that it wouldn't show up on "My Youtube videos" or in the search bar and now I have to upload it on here.. mehhhhh)

It's kind of hard to believe we've been talking for a year now, technically we really became friends around January since that's when we started e-mailing, but after much searching and stalking Heather's Pinterest, I found that it has now been about a year since we first started talking.

It's been fantastic, we've emailed, talked on the phone, and Skyped a few times. Every time we laugh our heads off and it's basically the best thing ever.
There have been times when I basically just couldn't take it anymore and e-mailed her with a full-on rant, she listened (read...?) and helped me more than I could ever ask from her.
I can only hope I've been half as good a friend to her as she is to me, Heather I love you to death. Thank you for always being there for me :)

xoxo
Molly

P.s. I've been reading some of our old emails and I feel like I'm gonna cry, such amazing times <3

Could it?

I'm a dreamer.
I daydream all day everyday.
Usually good.
Sometimes... not.
sometimes it's too much.
Trying to figure out why I'm stressing myself out
about things that I made up in my head...
They're not real... right?
That would never happen... would it?
I can't help but worry
that it could actually happen.
If I don't think they could ever happen,
why would I ever have thought that to begin with?
Is there some truth in what I think?
Could it happen?
Would it happen?
No.
Yes?

An invitation

So recently I have been talking to the beautiful miss Mackenzie (I've missed her!!! It's so fun to talk to her again :D) about her and her beautiful to-be husband, Ansel.

I told her I would be more than happy to plan their wedding, as long as I get to be a bridesmaid.
We have been discussing rainbow colors and mac & cheese and happy bread, it will be a marvelous wedding.

We have decided that Mr. Elgort will wear this suit:

Along with a beautiful lavender tie.

So today I would like to invite all of you lovelies to celebrate with us at the Mackansel wedding.

The beautiful Rosie will be maid of honor and I shall be... (wait for it) Epic bridesmaid!

we hope you will join us on this most joyous of days.

xoxo
Molly

P.s. if any of you have any information on the best way to find Ansel and bring him here for the wedding, please let us know.

My cyber-friends are not my real-life friends. Meh.
I'm not even going to list all of my bookworm problems.
My button doesn't match my blog -_-

***

HEY!!! So as you can probably tell (duh) I REDESIGNED MY BLOG :D It took about a million years and by the time I was done (At about 11PM last night) I thought I was going to pull my hair out, but I LOVE the way it looks now :D
SO, #1. I made a links page!!! <<< click there or ^^^^ up there to see if YOU are on it! :D And if not, sowwy, you can be! just ask!
#2. Like I said up there ^ my button no longer matches my blog, but I know some people have already used it and I JUST made it. So should I make a new one, or deal with my OCD senses tingling for a while?
#3. I'm not gonna do Through my lens every week now, I've realized I don't take enough pictures for that, so I'll just throw my pictures in posts now and then and do Through my lens whenever I feel like it and have enough pictures :)
That's all folks!

the magic of books

Books.
pretty much my favorite thing to hold in my hands.
the excitement when I get the book I've been waiting for is sometimes too much to handle.
I have a book with me everywhere I go.
Books.
The doorway to another world.
the best way to simply check out of life for awhile.
an opportunity to live someone else's life.
Books.
Just a collection of 26 letters?
Simply a made up story?
Full of fictional characters?
No.
Magic.
Love.
Happiness.
Real.
Part of our lives.
Always there.
Never changing.
But shaping and reliving itself in our heads.
Making my own decisions as my eyes dance across the page.
The author isn't the only one writing the book.
It could mean something so very different to me than it does to you.
That's the magic of it all.

Books are my life,
what are they to you?

xoxo
Molly

p.s. Has anyone out there finished Mark of Athena? Because I need emotional support.
